The History of Breaking Yoke

In the year 2002, it all started with a three (3) member morning devotion. This
continued each morning until the number increased as God added to the number daily
due to the demonstration of God’s power.

On Sunday December 14, 2003 the fellowship moved from the founder’s sitting room to
a space under a Nim Tree at Nungua Odikoman and dedicated as a Church. Eventually
a main shift structure was put up but the members of the community litigated against
the church based on our noise level during all night services. The all night service was
moved to the washing bay near Ravico Hotel. In the year 2009 a naked wizard hanging
in the sky fell down after the prophet commanded the church slogan “Breaking Yoke!
Fire! Fire!! Fire!!!” This attracted the attention of many people and the church grew
rapidly from that day.

The rapid growth of the church attracted a lot of enemies and challenges as well. We
eventually moved to our current location where we put up a magnificent Temple but
again litigants came in again to demolish the multimillion cedis temple with bulldozer,
nothing was left to take. The brave Prophet did not give up. He made sure the all-night
service pending for that day was still held. Canopies, chairs and public address systems
where hired to make it possible.

As a sacrificial leader, he sold his only car to raise money to rebuild the temple. In a
few years after demolishing another presentable temple was raised. This is not the end

of it, work is still in progress in making it even more pleasant to worship here by putting
up an eighteen thousand sitting capacity church. Our Audio-visual department (Media
House) is almost completed to house our studios for Television and radio broadcasting.

In a long term, the Great city of power which will serve as our annual or biennial
international assembly grounds will also be built. Our focus as a church is to raise holy
people and prepare them for heaven. The word of God is the foundation of the church
and we believe in the demonstration of God’s Power.

“.... And upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell will not prevail
against it.” Matthew 16:18

Our Vision

To be the leading church in Africa to populate heaven and to depopulate hell through the demonstration of God’s power and the use of modern soul winning methods to propagate the gospel. This has led to the acquisition of Kpegah TV and the Kpegah radio is also in the pipeline.

To raise all Christians connected to us to a state of prosperity on earth, to lay treasures in heaven and to enter heaven after life on earth. Our father has the vision to acquire hundreds of buses to help the poor to benefit from the oil of prosperity upon him

To be the first church in the world to assemble millions of believers from all over the world annually or bi-annually to worship and honor God with one voice.

Our Mission

Our mission is to break the yoke of bondage for all those who are bound (Isaiah 10:27) and to promote the Kingdom of God on earth. (Matthew 6:33)
