The history of Breaking Yoke Ministry International is a testimony to the wonderful act
of God demonstrated in the life of His children. From inception, Breaking Yoke has been
a beacon of light and pillar of hope in Ghana. Thousands of men and women have been
and continue to be touched by this ministry of God.
One day H.E. Prophet Dr. Cephas Kwame Kpegah Tamakloe (The Founder) saw in a
vision, a huge banner with the inscription “BREAKING YOKE” with fire around it. In his
interactions with God, God told him that is the name of the church he is about to
establish through him. Our slogan; “BREAKING YOKE! FIRE! Fire!! Fire .....” also came
about as a result of the fire he saw around the banner. Hebrews 12:29 “For our God is
a consuming fire.”
